The Imigize service has successfully tested its virtual fitting algorithm on clothes.
Samples of jeans and shirts were scanned at Imigize Industrial Measurement Center using patented 3D direct internal volume measurement technology.
The test buyers were scanned with a 3D scanner.
Imigize’s algorithm accurately sorted the right size from a range of denim pants and shirts for each of the buyers. Control physical fitting confirmed the success of the results.
The ability to digitize the internal volume of clothing in 3D format and 3D body scanning technology open up new horizons for the Imigize service in the trillions dollar worth clothing market.
Over the past year, due to the Covid pandemic, the apparel and footwear industry has faced an urgent need to rethink its sales format, with an emphasis on online, but the issue of choosing the right size without physical fitting remains a major challenge for e-commerce.
